Cookie Policy

What we store in your browser, why, and how to get rid of it.

Last updated August 2026

1. What a cookie is

A cookie is a small file a website stores in your browser so it can remember something between pages or between visits.

2. What we use

Essential. A visitor identifier so the free tools can apply their fair use daily limits, and a session cookie if you are logged in. Without these the tools and the login do not work.

Preferences. Small settings such as remembering a form you had part filled.

Analytics. If analytics is enabled on your visit, it records which pages were viewed so we can see what is used. It does not identify you by name.

3. What we do not use

We do not run advertising cookies and we do not sell what your browser tells us to anybody.

4. Third party content

The contact page and the footer contain a Google Maps embed. When it loads, Google may set its own cookies. That is Google doing it rather than us, and their terms cover it.

5. Turning them off

Every browser lets you block or delete cookies in its settings. Blocking essential cookies will stop the free tools and the login from working properly.

6. Questions
